March 4th Traci Brooks Released
Posted by Devin. Filed in Rumors & Gossip. Comment on this Post

TNA has released TNA Knockout, Traci Brooks reports PWInsider. Brooks is the longest serving Knockout, beginning with the company all the way back in 2003 long before TNA introduced a Knockouts division.

Despite being with the company for four years before the division was even born, Traci was never really pushed in the Knockouts division with the top spots going to the likes of Gail Kim, Awesome Kong and Angelina Love.

Notable moments include her feud with Trinity, Ms Payton Banks [Rain] and a very short stint as ‘Knockouts Law’, a GM figure for the division. Most recently, Brooks served as the only Knockout representative of the Main Event Mafia before they disbanded and then took on a gimmick in which she revealed she had a disability in her arm though it was never substantiated if the disability was legit or a storyline device. Brooks also posed for Playboy last October after the popular adult magazine struck a deal with TNA.

March 4th New Myspace Blog: Released From TNA

Just wanted to take this time to say yes i was released yesterday afternoon from TNA. There is nothing to report or any stories on why..simply they had nothing for me. I loved my time at TNA and will look back at my seven years with them with great fondness. TNA is a family and unfortunately this is the nature of the beast with family members coming and going. I will still be wrestling and doing conventions just like i have been this whole time. Thank you to the ring crew, camera men, production, creative and of course the talent who i have shared so many good times with, my only sadness is not being able to say goodbye to these people in person. I do have my ebay store, tracibrooksdirect2u, where you can find traci brooks merch. My myspace which is tnaknockouttracibrooks and my facebook i do not or have not ever had a twitter account and those 2 sites are my only social network…so if anyone is following me on twitter sorry to say its not me, as well as facebook..there is imposter’s but traci brooks is my only facebook account..thanks again to my fans for always supporting me and for all the great times i have had over the years. Looking forward to what life has in store for me..god bless..and please watch TNA monday nights as i will still be cheering on my family including my husband.

January 8th Traci Officially Married!
Posted by Devin. Filed in Rumors & Gossip. Comment on this Post

The Wrestling Globe Newsletter reports that Traci Brookshaw, better known as Traci Brooks, and Frankie Kazarian, who is currently competing as Suicide, got married on Thursday, January 7, 2010. The majority of the Total NonStop Action Wrestling crew, as well as some World Wrestling Entertainment friends, were in attendance at the ceremony.

Christopher Daniels, who served as the best man, called it “a beautiful affair,” on his Twitter account. “Some tears were shed, but the joy overflowed. Absolutely fabulous!”

One of the big moments of the ceremony apparently was Samoa Joe marking out to Kip James doing the Soulja Boy dance during the reception.

Congratulations to Traci and Kaz!

September 5th Did TNA Fumble Traci Brooks’ Playboy Deal?

As reported earlier this week, nude photographs of TNA women’s wrestler Traci Brooks will not be appearing in Playboy as originally planned. Instead, her photos will be published on the company’s subscription based premium website, the “Cyber Club.”

In a further update on the story, the decision to remove Brooks from the publication was actually made some time back as there was a rumor going around a week or two after it was revealed that she had shot the nude pictorial that Playboy decided against putting her pictures in the magazine.

She shot the photos several months ago, and was at one point scheduled to grace the cover of the November issue. Playboy had requested that TNA push her hard during the period before the issue came out. TNA decided to finally bring her back to television after a several month long hiatus mere days after it was publicly revealed she would be appearing in the magazine.

As noted, Playboy decided against publishing her photos in the publication a week or two after word got out, which could lead some to speculate that perhaps TNA was a bit late in deciding to promote her again as it would appear the magazine became dissatisfied and/or disinterested by that point

August 30th TNA To Run A Knockout Exclusive Series?

TNA is said to be continuing with the idea of having a separate Knockouts series. While the initial idea was for this to take place on Spike TV, the new deal does allow TNA to speak with other networks and this could be one way of getting this going. One sign of this possibly happening is the pushing of new TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championships that are currently being introduced in a new tournament on Impact right now.

August 23rd Update On Traci Brooks and Playboy

The September 2009 issue of Playboy hit mailboxes this past week and the preview for next month’s issue makes zero mention of TNA Knockout Traci Brooks, who is scheduled to appear in that month’s issue. This is quite peculiar as she was reportedly tapped to appear on the cover of the magazine. Brooks’ pictorial is set to be featured in the October 2009 issue as she said herself she would be doing a big media tour in October to promote the issue as well as several autograph signings.

It would appear that Brooks was promised the cover of Playboy considering she said she would be going on a media tour to promote the issue and they don’t do a media blitz unless they are on the cover. However, even if she was initially promised the cover, plans can always change. For instance, Christine “ForBiddeN” Dolce of MySpace fame was assured she would appearing on the cover of a 2006 issue when she shot her pictorial, but plans were nixed after the previous editor was fired — which left her very upset to say the least.
